Team Formation

BNWR will make every effort to find space on a BNWR team for all youth athletes registered prior to August 15.  Late registrations will be accomodated as space is available.

In the event that there is more than one (1) team in any youth division, BNWR will be forming the teams based on evaluations and ordinal numbers in accordance with Ringette BC guidelines.

BNWR will endeavor to place siblings on the same team (if requested) and attempts will be made to avoid separating a single player from a close friend group (when feasible). Requests to keep groups of 3 (three) or more players together will not be given priority in team formation decisions.

RingetteBC team formation guidelines are available here:

Player Movement Requests

In limited circumstances, BNWRA may consider approving requests for player movement (up or down an age group). These requests must be submitted to BNWRA by August 15, 2025 to be considered in accordance with Ringette BC's Player Movement Policy.

A NON-REFUNDABLE $50 fee must accompany all player movement requests. The fee is to offset the additional ice time and administrative burden of player movement requests.  The fee will be waived for players seeking medical accomodation.

BNWRA will forward approved requests to the LMRL.   Player movement is not permitted unless approved by the LMRL.
