"I love all the friendships that I've made as well as the confidence that I've gained playing ringette." - Emily
"I love playing ringette because it lets players make new friends with people like them. I made lots of new friends because I play ringette!" - Rachel
“I only started playing ringette as a second year U12. Without my teammates' help and support I never would have made it this far. I'm so happy I have my friends to play with. Ringette wouldn't be the same without them.” - Natara

Last Saturday’s game was awesome! The score was 8-7 for the other team. It was a close game. I think everyone did so well. Meera was like Luongo. She saved a lot of shots. Ratana tried to score a goal and Nico did some awesome pass to Ashley. Ashley passed back to Nico, then Nico passed the ring back. We tied it up and then the other team scored a goal and won but that is ok because at least we had fun and played as a team. It does not matter if we lose or win. Thank you Panthers for working together as a team. ~ Lauren's reflection after a game
Overall, the game was very good. Shuswap was a very tough team to play. We all tried our best which is most important. Everyone was skating their hardest. We were trying to make shorter passes so other players can’t interfere with them. Our triangle was pretty strong and Meera stopped a lot of goals! Hope you had a fun game. I did! ~ Keira's reflection after a game
Great game on Saturday! I think we all kept our feet moving and made some great passes. Once again our goalie played great and made some excellent saves. The other team was tough and the outcome was 12 - 7 for them. I think we could work on stabbing and putting more weight on our sticks. Although we lost, we had fun so in a way we did win. I am looking forward to our next game and hope you all are too. ~ Chloe's reflection after a game
My son was not a strong hockey player as he started late. In hockey there is so much time commitment and competitiveness. If you’re new or not a good player, you may never get the puck passed to you.
Ringette is such an awesome sport! It’s a true team sport where you have to rely on your team mates. It’s not an “I” sport!
My son was hesitant to move over to ringette as hockey is instilled in everyone’s minds. But once he made the switch, he quickly made friends and has never looked back. He will be playing his 4th season this year. My daughter will be playing her 8th season and my husband will be playing his 3rd season in Masters (adult division) ~ Yvonne C
